Search Queries
A name or place entered into a search box is sent to the outside company that provides the tool. That provider processes the query and supplies any result. We do not keep a separate log of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or other direct message may be retained long enough to respond and maintain the exchange. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our systems can receive routine technical details when a visitor loads a page:
- Page-view dates and times
- The referring website, when available
- Browser type and version
- Device and operating-system information
- IP address
- Pages viewed and approximate visit length
Cookies and Analytics

Links may lead to Mills County offices, Iowa court and agency pages, legal resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy rules apply. Check them before providing personal information.
Advertising companies may use their own systems to track activity across websites for targeted advertising. We do not control that tracking.
